A sensor from the system you want to monitor is connected to the SA2 terminal. When the unit detects a ‘changed’ or trouble condition it transmits a message via the cellular network and internet to a server. The server sends an alert -- by SMS text message, page, or e-mail -- with the following information:

• Serial number
• Site name -- user's choice
• The situation -- descriptive text is the user's choice

In addition, the GPS location of your critical system is displayed on a firewall-protected website and PC-driven mapping software is updated online to show the location of the site and the conditions. Messages are sent periodically to the PC to update the map.

SA2 will also send a self check, or "heartbeat " message verifying proper system functionality. The unit can be powered by 110/220 volt AC or 12/24 volt DC. An internal back-up battery will provide power after external power is disconnected.

IndSig’s products focus on wireless warning and alerting communications. The SA2 has unlimited monitoring possibilities. Most critical systems are controlled by sensors. SA2 will monitor any of these sensors (or additional ones that can be easily added) and provide an indication of any and all changed condition(s). Examples include: float switches, thermostats, pressure switches, flow switches, level switches, and door switches. These sensors are everywhere: air ventilation systems, hot water tanks, sump pumps, and countless others. SA2 offers peace of mind that your critical systems are operating properly and effectively. Additionally, labor costs can be reduced because the SA2 will replace on site personnel who monitor changing conditions.
